On July, 4-8th- The art of diplomacy: a group exhibition of young Azerbaijani artists in London Archivo - Archive Noticias - News Número 15 - Julio 2022 2 de julio de 2022 Islam Bakhshaliyev – Ambassador for Peace Director of the Social and Psychological Rehabilitation Centre of the Youth – “Dirchelish”(Revival) – Azerbaiyan dirchelish_azerbaijan@yahoo.com On the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Azerbaijan and the United Kingdom, «Revival» Youth Social and Psychological Rehabilitation Center together with Yunus Emre Institute in London holds an exhibition entitled «Art Diplomacy: A Group Exhibition of Young Azerbaijani Artists in London» July 4-8, 2022. Preparations for the exhibition began in November 2019. It was postponed for two years due to the pandemic. Therefore, it can be called a pandemic exhibition.Yunus Emre Institute pays special attention to the development of the culture of Turkic-speaking peoples and does its best to help for this purpose.The next such event is dedicated to the promotion of Azerbaijani culture. Twenty-two (22) artists are participating in the exhibition and 52 of their paintings will be displayed. Among our artists are Tural Bayramov with congenital hearing and speech defects, 1st group disabled Konul Ismayilova, Gunay Baylarova, Aynur Suleymanova, Nazrin Najafova, Rashida Guliyeva, Afsana Habib, Nazrin Huseynova, Raul Akhundov, Natali Shahmarova, Aynur Aliyeva, and other works by, will attract attention. Holding such exhibitions allows us to bring the culture and art of Azerbaijan, which has a rich culture, to the attention of the local community. The delegation consists of 38 people and all of them have received visas.»Revival» Youth Social and Psychological Rehabilitation Center was established in 1999. It is a non-governmental, non-political and non-profit organization, which develops and implements various measures and projects to integrate young people into society. The center has been promoting Azerbaijani culture abroad since 2010.In all European countries – Bulgaria, Belgium (4 times), France (3 times), Italy (2 times), Great Britain, Luxembourg, Poland, Czech Republic, Hungary, Switzerland, and Austria, including Asiya in Dubai and Singapore, as well as in Africa in Egypt held e xhibitions. A total of 345 young artists took part in these exhibitions and 1701 of their paintings were exhibited.The Center has been a member of the Council of Europe’s Youth Directorate since 2006.
